I would like to perform also the download of an addon direct with CLI instead of downloading via ACP like described here:

Hello, I've a big board, 1.5M posts. I've 2.1 + security fix and want to upgrade to 2.2. (My license is expired, will renew it soon) Should I run the upgrade from the admin panel, or is it reccomanded from command line? Where can I find the tutorial?

Seeing issues like https://xenforo.com/community/threads/error-upgrading-to-xf-2-2-7-patch-1.198839/ this would really be useful.

Right now we we do use a kinda hacky process

1. Download one ZIP
2. Have script replace the license key for the target installation
3. Overwrite the files
4. Run the upgrade via CLI

Being able to just run one command (or even two chained commands) from CLI to download the ZIP, unpack and run the upgrade would be great.
