The sstalk and supersitetalk were just examples I pulled out of thin air. I guess if you have a two or three word domain which would kind of be a keyword domain as your base domain and then have a short domain also then it could be the best of both worlds. In reality though over 80% of ones traffic is going to be from a search or a link from another site so technically the end user doesn't have to type anything. Once they bookmark the site who cares how long the domain name is. Shorter domain names are easier to fit on marketing material though like tshirts LOL.
