MG 2.1 Does XFMG follow attachment rules?

Hi, I have members uploading images in XFMG that are over 3mb in size and 3120px x 4160px in size (as an example), yet my attachments settings are on 1024 x 1024. So does XFMG follow the rules for attachment sizes? Because I can't seem to find any settings in the gallery itself to resize images.

XFMG has its own options. Actually they are permissions in the “XFMG: Storage quotas” group.

Ah, thanks, I found them in "Upload Quota's", it's currently set on 4mb so if I set a lower limit will it work similar to the attachments and resize the images upon upload?

The file size limit is a hard limit.

You want to probably allow 10MB (which is what it is for attachments) but set the max dimensions lower.

Images will be resized to those dimensions (and therefore result in a much smaller file size).
