Does XF have an API to connect profiles with other software or single sign on?

The way XenForo authentication works means you can easily integrate with other software. You could make a new authentification class to check for a wordpress session for example.

There are several solutions available but all requires you to do some coding:
Naatan's XenSSO (uses OpenID)
xfrocks's API Consumer (uses OAuth)
