XF 1.5 Does vBulletin/XenForo record account passwords?

Does vBulletin/XenForo record account passwords? There's a forum which was vB and then converted to XF. I would like to check password history of an account from the days when it was vB. Is it somehow possible to get that?

XenForo doesn't store plaintext passwords, it stores a hash. I can't speak for vBulletin but I assume vB also uses a hash to store passwords, I doubt they've ever stored it in plaintext.

I can't think of any reasonable reasons why you'd need to know a plaintext password for an account.

Far as I remember, vB used a hash for passwords. But I doubt either one keeps a password history. (Some systems do, like OSes, so members can't reuse the same password.) One does not need a plaintext password to detect duplicate usage, though--comparing the resulting hashes achieves the same purpose.
