I found a message in my spam queue, and noticed that there was nothing wrong with the new member's post, or other posts he had just made. Turns out he quoted a message that had a YouTube video embedded.
My spam filtering traps URLs, both pasted in, and with the [url] BBCode. Voila, that was the trigger.
Is that correct behavior? I imagine that the entire message is scanned for content, including any quotes. I realize a spammer could quote an existing message and alter it, but I have never seen that in any of the spam I've caught in the past 20 years.
Just want to be sure that is expected behavior, and perhaps find a way to have the spam filter ignore quoted content.
