XF 2.2 Docs for starting out with making a theme

Hello! I would like to make a theme, but I couldn't find any docs for it, or a thread so could anyone link something for me?

No I mean the syntax instructions in the docs. You can just manually make a new style in your admin cp and edit to your hearts content.

You can just edit the templates as they are. Press the templates button in your screenshot above and you'll see all the templates. Or press style properties if you want to edit the properties (colour font size etc) and not the actual layout.

I haven't used vscode for addons or template editing. Perhaps @Russ could offer some advice on how to edit templates directly in your IDE.

Sorry Russ, you're the only theme developer that came to the top of my head.

It was possible to use WebDav in the past, but I'm not sure if it's still possible or not.

@Sprisa I would personally just learn the template system for now, and wait for 2.3 before you begin looking into style properties as the new variant system will require some adjustments to workflow in many cases.
