Yeah, they are not trying - crypto currencies already proved to be a big success for black markets ;)
Legal markets are big black markets if you go in deep. At least these new currencies allow anyone to have them if they desire and have a PC/internet device. El Salvador already made Bitcoin legal tender. We will see. I'll keep HODLing.

I always see these type of threads around forums. The best ones are ones dated in the early years of Bitcoin
I always screenshot this type of threads.

some understood it right from the start.
some will understand it eventually.
some will never get it.

A big game of USA in btc. US debt 36 trillion, now the whole world who invested in btc will pay for it, just a matter of time!
Money stolen 2 times, it will happen again, but in the right time for them, when price is very high

there is lot of money in crypto mining.
Sure, if you can afford a huge farm with either a solar farm or wind farm, otherwise more often than not the cost of power/cooling is going to take over most of the profit you would have made.

Here's a calculator to see how profitable it actually is: https://www.coinwarz.com/mining/bitcoin/calculator

This also does not account for hardware investment, which to properly earn income from mining you do need to invest in proper hardware, and you are often upgrading or replacing such hardware as well.

It's not worth mining. You will need to invest thousands of dollars and your ROI is much lower then if you held the Bitcoin and did nothing.

You are competing against billion dollar corporations that have access to borrow multi-millions & billions. You can't compete against them.

Buy and hold instead.

And just hope you aren't sitting on bitcoin because it is a possibly irretrievably dead hard drive.

I have bought some via Robinhood. I haven't done any of the "mining" and have no intention to. What I did buy on Robinhood has turned a little bit of profit, I'm fine with that.
