Ah, good question. I misunderstood what you meant

Unsure, Though it wouldn't be difficult I expect to find out the type of battery used in the Apple Watch and research what the expected longevity would be. I guess it's reliability for the long term would be high though.

I personally don't care for anything on my wrists or fingers. Instead of a wedding ring, I'm getting a tattoo on my ring finger (thank you Justin Furstenfeld) so I can't see myself getting any watch anytime soon.
