XF 1.4 Do alerts delete if the content is deleted?

Let's say I quote someone's post and reply to them. Two minutes later I decide delete the post for whatever reason.

Does the "someone replied to your post" alert get removed from their alerts que?

Yes, though it may show up with the red flag depending if they have the page open when the alert is first created, but when they hover over it, it wont show the alert.
