XF 1.5 Do Admins have to be Moderators?

Hi

Does an Administrator also have to be in the Moderator usergroup? Or does an Admin have all the mod functions automatically?

In other words, can an Admin be a member of only Registered and Administrators usergroups?

They are separate functions - members can be one or the other, or both.

Assigning to a user group does not make a member either one - they have to be explicitly promoted.
