This was such a cool thing to see. It flew right over my office.
Heard it was doing a 1,500 ft flyover today. Looks like it also has an escort. This was such a cool thing to see. It flew right over my office.

Indeed it does They did a few passes over D.C. and Arlington and then they headed towards the Smithsonian Air and Space museum in Dulles (which I recently went to and is equally awesome).Heard it was doing a 1,500 ft flyover today. Looks like it also has an escort.
I'd love to someday see the inside of a shuttle. I really wanted to see a launch but I never made it down there.Indeed it does They did a few passes over D.C. and Arlington and then they headed towards the Smithsonian Air and Space museum in Dulles (which I recently went to and is equally awesome).
I wonder if they plan on opening it up once it gets to the museum. That would be really cool. I'd definitely go back there again. Also, would love to see a launch.I'd love to someday see the inside of a shuttle. I really wanted to see a launch but I never made it down there.
That's like Fox New's title, no mention that it's actually being carried by a 747. lolI almost didn't click on this thread because I thought it was going to be, "Look what I found while I was a passenger on a 747!" Instead it was LITERALLY the Discovery on a 747!.
Not sure about the Smithsonian but you can go inside at Kennedy.I wonder if they plan on opening it up once it gets to the museum. That would be really cool. I'd definitely go back there again. Also, would love to see a launch.
