XF 1.5 Disable Smilies

Hello!

I'm going to be enabling a Halloween theme though I though I'd use Halloween smilies too as well as changing the theme.

Is there anyway I could just disable the stock Xenforo smilies so I'm able to re-use the text that's replaced?

So for example disable the "" smiley but still be able to use the replacement text ": (" so I could use Halloween smilies instead?

Overwrite the existing emoticon images on the server or upload new images and update the image properties for each entry in the ACP.

Overwriting the images probably works out easier.
