XF 1.2 Disable emails?

Strange question I know, but is there any way to completely disable the email system in xenForo?

The reason I ask is for my local xenForo copy - I don't run a mail server on my local system, and I can't use my site's one because the necessary ports are blocked.

This causes connection error's, and also slow page loading when it's trying to send an email...

For anyone else who can't be bothered to go through the manual, add this to your config.php file:

$config['enableMail'] = false;
