XF 1.1 Disable Avatars to show in certain forums ?

Is it possible to prevent avatar to show in certain forums ? if yes, how ?

Create a new style. Edit templates in the new style to remove avatars. Edit the forum and assign that style to the forum.

For avatars, you probably want these templates:

message_user_info
thread_list_item

Search for xen:avatar

In order to duplicate my current theme. I would just need to Export it and then re-import it with different name ?

Instead of that, you should just create a new style as a child of your current style. The child will automatically inherit everything from the parent. Then customize those two templates.
