MG 1.1 Disable Albums from Appearing on Media Home

Is this possible at all? I just want media from my categories to show on the Media homepage.

Thanks for the reply. I've made this into a suggestion.

In the meantime is there some code I could easily insert somewhere to achieve this or is it something that's complicated and would be too much of a bother?

I'd like to see the albums display only the album cover thumbnail. When a user uploads 20 of the same type of pic, it pretty much ruins the variety of pictures on the media homepage.

I had to disable albums all together to prevent the homepage from having 20 of the same pics display, that way there was a better user experience.
