RM 2.2 Difference Between 'Type' and 'Prefix' in Resource Sorting

I'm a bit confused about the difference between "Type" and "Prefix" in the resource sorting options. They both seem to show the same options! I created two prefixes, and they also appear under "Type". Can someone explain the distinction between the two?

Type is whether the resource is paid or free:


Prefix is whatever you created as a resource prefix.

Aha, so "Free" and "Paid" are there by default, I was creating them as prefixes

Well, you can create them, if you specifically want to highlight Free and Paid resources with a prefix.

 

[Opus X]

would be nice to be able associate the paid or free field with a prefix of the same name.
it helps sometimes to make stuff stand out.
