Thanks for this, No i'm looking for notifications like how twitter do it / vBulletin. I think this may only work on Mac as default but I haven't used a windows in a good few years so I wouldn't know

Yeah same, we need to xenforo notifications for addon dev, on laptop or desktop would be better.

Yes it's unsupported. I think probably it doesn't work anymore. I don't use it anymore at the moment. It's not an xf addon, its a chrome extension.

Yeah that right, chrome addon was older version.

Browsers on android have native support.

That is the current state of play.

iOS is dragging it's feet with WebKit or they are evangelists of the web and making sure they implement it right... Depends on which side of the fence you sit on.

The only issue I have ever seen with it is if you have 2 tabs open from the same site, you'll get 2 notifications. Certain that has been reported as well. Anymore discussion should probably be directed to the resource thread.
