Question--someone accidentally deleted a post in our moderation queue today, which is not hard to do given our volume. I do have hard delete turned off for everyone (including myself), but are the moderation queue posts hard-deleted? We can't seem to find the post anywhere we've looked.

They are soft deleted. Look in the original thread. You should see a deletion marker.

Thanks Jake. I figured that was the case. We did not see any soft-deleted posts in the thread, and the thread tools showed only that some posts were approved earlier in the day. I'm thinking it was a case of mistaken identity (someone thought they deleted a post, but didn't...or was thinking of another post/user).

I was only concerned those posts may go into a "black hole," but that is not the case.
