If a profile post comment has been liked but is later deleted (either soft or hard), the likes given will not be removed from the user that posted the comment.

I'm able to confirm this myself.

Thought maybe rebuilding user caches might update it, but nope.

There's actually a few things missing here. The like count isn't adjusted when profile posts which contain liked comments are deleted either.

This is fixed for the next release now (including the few additional bits of clean up that were needed).

@Mike: Is this fix, which was delivered in 1.5.8, retroactive? I figured deleting my comment since it's just a test would be a good workaround for my minor dilemma regarding deleted members' likes, which I tried, but I forgot about this bug.

So once my co-administrator finally gets around to updating us to 1.5.9 or whatever is the current 1.5 at the time, will the like count be adjusted accordingly for soft or hard deleted profile post comments which contained likes made before 1.5.8?

    This would not be retroactive.

That's a shame. All the more reason why having an option to rebuild likes under Rebuild Caches would be incredibly useful for situations like these.
