MG 2.2 default sorting gallery items by filename?

Several of my members have noticed that there doesn't seem to be a way to default the gallery media display by say filename and/or date. A member posted a large photo story with hundreds of slides, but when viewed, is backwards. Is there a fix for this, or an add-on?

XFMG Order By Title - Adds "Order By Title" function to XFMG

This addon adds the function to order XFMG by title to album and media views. The order by title is integrated into the basic order function, works with ascending and descending ordering and supports every installed XFMG language (the XFMG phrase 'title' has to be translated).

The addon includes XFMG class & function extensions and XFMG template changes. This could conflict with other addons that modify the sort functions of XFMG.

Just use the filters. Right top of gallery.
