XF 2.1 data-csrf displaying after upgrade

After updating to 2.1.2, and merging the changes, above my forum it's displaying:

data-csrf="[then a string of letters and numbers]"

Do you know what's caused this? or how to hide it?

We added that in the most recent release. It is required.

Is it a token for the user?

Is there any chance I can move it to the bottom of the page?

Because it looks very odd at the top with my theme

I now see what you mean.

It isn't supposed to be displayed at the top of the forum. You have merged the templates incorrectly.

You need to fix it yourself by editing the template, revert the template or wait for your theme designers to release an update to address the issue.

The template in question is PAGE_CONTAINER.
