BassMan submitted a new resource:

News Feed Permission - Hide News Feeds for certain user groups.

Description:
With this add-on you can set permission for certain user groups to show or hide News Feeds.

It removes all links on forum that point to Recent Activity page, but it does not disable the News Feed feature. It just hides it.


How it works and settings

Enable the core option in Options > News Feed:

Thanks, this is a great idea

but is there a way to add

<meta name="robots" content="noindex" />

to the page where "You do not have permission to view this page" shows up?

Or just redirect them to the login-page?
