very nice add-on..
I have a questions:
1) Tried to change the text color to black thru style property but it doesn't do anything...
2) Is it possible to sytle the button similar to the shown button (attached picture) ?

Hi herocus,

works fine on my forum. Edit the [postbit avatar] group for button colour. For borders add top and right one to 5px.

If it still doesn't change the colour check the template modifications for this add-on. There shouldn't be any grey or red numbers.

I updated xenforo today. Afterwards the colors of the the conversation form in overlay was messed up. After updating Conversation Button nothing is working. I cannot find anything neither in styles nor in the group permissions.
Deleting and installing again: same problem.
What can be wrong?

Not sure what could be wrong. Only one template changed for this add-on and I fix it in the last update.

Check outdated templates and template modifications for this add-on (no grey or red numbers).

If useful send a screen.

Ok, upgraded my live site to XF 1.4.4 and updgraded Conversation Button under Avatar to v. 2.4.1.

All works as expected.

Do you have any other template modification for conversation_add template from any other add-on?

Also check for any outdated templates.

Oh, I don't think it will work with that add-on.

But maybe you can try to set Execution order to 9 for conversation_add template modification for this add-on (debug mode must be enabled).

Upon Starting a New Conversation, when saving, it doesn't redirect after save. This creates duplicates because the OP doesn't know if it was actually created.

It shows notice on top of forum, but it don't redirect, that's true. You just have to navigate to other site. That's how it works now.

Unfortunate. I've uninstalled this now because of that. Anytime an add-on changes the basic redirects, I would consider it to be broken or unfinished. Hope you resolve this because I love this add-on.
