XF 1.4 Cut the corner of an image

Hello,

I'm making a custom block for my website which consists in 3 images (from 3 recents threads) and I would like to cut the left corner of the first item because the left corner of my container will be cut aswell.

The problem I have is that I don't know how to cut this image using css. It would be easy to modify every image with photoshop but I only want the first one to be cut. What would be my best solution there?

You could do it how it has been done for the online marker.
Just do it the same colour as the background.
