XF 1.5 Custom Usergroup Banner

Okay, I already understand the basics of doing a custom usergroup banner, I've used this in the past:

I'd like to do something a little more wild, and I'm not sure how to do it.

I want the background of a banner to include three colors in vertical columns, Red, White, and Blue. Here is a mockup.



I'm not sure where to start on this one. Any ideas would be helpful!

For this, you would need to make it in an editing program, such as Paint or Photoshop, and then upload it to the server and call it.

So you are saying it can't be done simply with CSS, I need to include an image to make it work?

You can't target only specific parts of the banner, only the whole banner, so no. You would need to create the image yourself in an editing program.
