Lack of interest Custom User or Thread Fields: Using Choices

When using choices for custom user or thread fields, the choices can't be changed in the future. This restriction really makes it much less useful.

Each choice is associated with an id, it may make more sense in terms of database design, but it really ruined this feature, IMHO.
