I always wanted to suggest this feature but I thought no one else would be interested.
Okay, when a member registers, could we have custom profile fields that will automatically place the member into a particular usergroup on submitting the registration details. That way, I can categorize my members automatically into different groups so they have different permissions on the site.
Say for example: select gender > female and I don't have access to forums restricted to males.
select age > minor and I don't have access to adult only forums.
select sponsor > and I have access to forums for sponsors
These usergroups could be like additional usergroups in vB and members are given access according to what they entered in during registration.
