Not a bug Custom feild

Hi,

I create a custom feild and than removed it. but it still exists in ther personal details of the everyone accounts. Can you tell me how to make it disappear completely please.

I can't reproduce this. I created a field, set a value for it in my profile and then deleted it. It's disappeared from everywhere I can see. Can you confirm which page you're seeing this one?

I've attached some screenshots of what im seeing. I originally created the location field as text and then deleted and created it as Dropdown.



See the 2 location feilds.


User see it as well.

Location is a default field (like Occupation and Home Page). In the screenshots, the first one is there by default. The second one is the one you added.

i see, that make sense. is there way to turn the other one off?

It should point you in the right direction of removing the location field. Should you need any more assistance after that, it would be advisable to start a new thread in an appropriate forum.

ok thanks. i disabled the location code in the templates as recommend in the link.
