Custom confirmation email?

I was just wondering if there was a way to edit the confirmation email to suit my forums. Any help?

Sure thing. Edit the user_email_confirmation_body_html and user_email_confirmation_body_text phrases for the body, and user_email_confirmation_subject for the subject.

I seem to remember Phrases only cover the plain text version. You have to do the html version via that alternate admin thing forget what its called (brain porridge overwork) .... DEBUG mode! Huh.

I do WISH there were a nice friendly editor for redoing the outgoing emails.

You are correct in that the HTML layouts are controlled by an admin template, editable in debug mode, but just editing the text can be done by changing the user_email_confirmation_body_html phrase. So we're both correct - thanks for adding to my answer.
