Cracked XenForo?

I was just wondering how to tell if a website has a cracked version of XenForo. I have a very strong suspicion that a website I know is using a cracked version of XenForo as the owner of the site offered me a cracked version before I bought it.

If we don't know the outcome, what's the use of tracking or reporting. Unless punishment is know , crime is not treated as crime.

As Biker has said, it's no-one's business but XenForo's how they deal with pirated installations.
