Just wondering aloud, how do you know the DDoS attack originated from those who you took to court?
They posted that they were doing it on their site

They don't sound very bright. They posted that they were doing it on their site
What about conspiring to carry out a distributed denial of service attack? I believe this is covered in the Computer Misuse Act.Unauthorised access with intent, destruction of data and willful impairment of access
They posted that they were doing it on their site
LOL....not the smartest criminals in the world.
They posted that they were doing it on their site
I don''t know how things wok over there.
then the police arrests them at your say so
Just saying that this whole story doesn''t make much sense to me.
Where have I ever stated this?
Have just had my statement taken by the police. The futuresbright, the futures orangewhite... and cube shaped... with bars
But in all seriousness, they are in serious **** now and could face potentially 20 years in jail for a variety of offences under the computer missuse act.
I can't say much more at this point as it is now an active police matter.
erm, how has Schmitz been sentenced, he hasn't even been extradited back to the US has he yet?
From your post above:
That says it all. Do you have any real PROOF other than what they allegedly posted in their website about being behind the attack on your forum? The police would have to get a warrant to confiscate their site content and for that they would need probable cause and not your hearsay. And there is no judge that would issue an warrant based on what you are saying. So how come they are in so deep ****? But I dunno, maybe in your la la land things work like that. Obviously you can get anyone arrested at your whim there lol
Oh, I can keep up with the posts here all right. But what I can''t keep up with is arrogance, attitude and ignorance.
And 20 years for a hacking? You must be the most important person in the world for them to be punished like that.
Anyway, I am done with this cock and bull story. Good luck with your la la case.

Well, there is obviously enough proof that the police were interested and appear, as Slavik suggests, that they will be taking action. I can't understand your comments of arrogance though, from what I've read, he knows its them and almost certainly has proof, but he's hardly going to post it on a public forum when its now a police matter, is he?
As for the 20 years, I suspect that's what they would be facing as a maximum punishment under the computer misuse act. Its not to say they would get that, but that's what the maximum could be.
I just felt the need to ask some questions, after having personally dealt with a similar situation almost a decade ago, in a case with groundless accusations and forged evidence.
How do you know it's the same teens and not someone else claiming to be them? Have your ISP confirmed it's them again?
Have you ever met these teens or any of their relatives before the 1st trial?
erm, how has Schmitz been sentenced, he hasn't even been extradited back to the US has he yet?
(Have to say, haven't been keeping up-to-date with the case, but last I heard he was still in NZ)
