XF 2.0 connected account providers for openid?

Just curious if the connected account system supports openid or not, from what I can tell it'll only support oauth without a lot of changes

The underlying library only supports OAuth and that is generally the approach from most providers now, so that's primarily what we support/target.

Ah, that's a bit unfortunate but not end of the world. Will figure something out as I'd really like to keep the options for it in the connected account providers section

It's definitely possible to do. However it's a tad bit annoying, in my experience.
