Lack of interest Configurable length for the update snippet in threads

Two parts to this one.
  1. Please make the length of the snippet that appears when an update is created (that appears in a new post in quotes) configurable in length with an option to specify no limit.
  2. For here at XenForo I would prefer to see "no limit" specified which I feel is reasonable now that quotes are collapsed after X characters.
Currently I copy and paste the entire update text when I release updates here.
