I have seen mention within the forums of a command line / console based import (for vB 3.8?) for large site conversions but cannot find it's location or details within the FAQ or DOCS.

Does it still exists and is relevant for the current version? If so, where can I find details/instructions?

It is still beta, but the files can be found within your xenforo download.
