Not a bug click on image as guest then sign in issue

Navigating XF as guest and clicking on a image in a post prompts guest to sign in, Once sign in is complete the image opens in a new window (without the fancy image viewer) and will continue to do so, until you refresh the page through browser.

I initially thought that it was a browser issue with Chrome but I also get this with Firefox.

That's expected really. Anything you do on a future page view won't affect a previous page. The output for people that can see attachments is quite different from those that can't.

I would have thought that displaying http://xenforo.com/community/attachments/recentstatusdisplay-png.5220/ plainly in a new window would have been considered a bug. That being said, Your decision is respected

But we have to initialize the lightbox when you load the page (and tell the system that those attachments are lightbox'able). When you loaded the page, they weren't (since you didn't have permission), so that is the correct behavior.
