Check Retain imported content IDs for vB 4?

I'm reading checking this could cause the import to fail. If I leave it unchecked do user albums wind up where they're supposed to?

Both options will work if the necessary criteria is met. If you want to maintain IDs as far as possible, you need to ensure you have no content in XFMG (in 1.0.0, that includes removing the default category; in the future this will be removed if it's empty).

The option doesn't change the import other than the IDs of the import content.

About to start a VB 4 Gallery import into a fresh XFMG install (version 1.1.0 beta 2) and unclear whether I need to remove the default XFMG category or not...
