character counter on the editor

not sure if this is going to be in the new editor or not, but it would be cool to have extra tools like a character counter, and a word counter.

Ill check it out would be cool to have one natively like all the modern editors, maybe the new one has it. I see my self using one of them sites online sometimes for long posts.

Can you give an example of one such modern editor?

So far I haven't seen this on WhatsApp, X, YouTube, Discourse, ... most likely 99,9999% of forum users wouldn't care.
