XF 2.1 Changing to HTTPS ssl from HTTP

Is this a quick fix?

I only have a couple hundred posts.

Also I have already been indexed by google. What happens to those indexed pages without the s url.

Am I screwed?

It's not difficult.

1. install a valid domain SSL certificate for your forum. Your host can help you do this.
2. change Admincp >> Setup >> Options >> Board URL to read https://{yourdomain.com}

In most cases this is all you need.

You can add automatic redirection for your site from http to https via cPanel. Again, your host can help you with this.

As your forum submits new sitemaps, and Googlebot following indexed http URLs is redirected, the old links will drop out and be replace by the new ones.
