This isn't showing up for me. I click Edit next to the OP's first post and it doesn't display the option. When I click more options, it doesn't display it either.

Please check your template, i think you change default template -> template modification can't find and replace template

Some feedback @******* :
  • Unfortunately it doesn't update the thread counters properly when changing the date (Time stamp in the thread title and other messages in the thread remains unchanged)
  • When I change the date and try to post a message an error pops up "you can not insert a message in the middle of a discussion ?!!"
    PHP:
XenForo_Exception: Cannot insert a message in the middle of a discussion. - library/XenForo/DataWriter/DiscussionMessage.php:446

  • Also change the thread date manually. I had to change a thread date from 2009, imagine the endless clicking...
  • An option to update the conters to +1 minute. When you click on it it updates the threads messages to the current forum time.

Yeah, this mod hasn't worked properly for a while now. Now, every time I make a post edit, it puts the time at 12:00am midnight the next day, so attempting to make another post before this time results in the above error ^^^ It wasn't compatible with my "edit history" addon anyway.

Just un-installed this, no more 12am problem.

@yavuz @gold94corolla we will check bugs that you reported and fix this soon. We suggest you to user Premium version at http://xenforo.com/community/resources/*******-change-threads-posts-owner-premium.2188/ to solve your current issues.

Regards,

Just had to disable this add-on on a client site because editing the first post in a thread meant it reset the the time at which the post was made to the same time but without any seconds which was then before the time that the thread was created. This then caused that thread not to be marked as read by any user.

I've disabled this add on on a forum I had using it, as it doesn't seem to be calculating time correctly in some instances.

These instances appear to be involving threads prior to us migrating servers. Simply editing a post could cause the post time to change, despite that time field not actually being touched

If a post is entered 10 minutes ago and admin changes its date to last month, the date changes but the thread still shows as started 10 minutes ago. Can this be controlled somehow?

This may be fixed when you re-run the cache for threads and posts.

Speaking of that it would great if after a thread's date/time is updated that the user could re-run caches directly from the post modification edit screen instead of going to the admin control panel.

This works great but quick question @*******. Is there a way to do this in mass bulk. Lets say I want to change 10000 threads the date and the username. Is there a way to do this?

+1 on bulk editing

I have the "change post owner" dialog appearing twice

How do I get the edited post to appear in the correct order of posts now?
