XF 1.4 Change the URL of forums

Currently, If I were to click on a forum, it would take me to the following URL:

http://example.com/forum/forums/news-and-announcements.2/

Notice here that there are 2 forums, /forum and /forums. How would I make it so the URL will look like:

http://example.com/forum/news-and-announcements.2/

That's because you installed XenForo on the sub directory (i.e. '/forum/') and for any forum link the prefix is '/forums/' so if you want to change it, you have to use XenForo's Route Filter module.

EDIT: btw, you can't change to what you want as you will need to have a prefix for the 'forums' route.

Move the installation to the root and/or create a route filter.

better move your forum from /forum/ to /board/ so it will be like: '/board/forums'...

but yes, you can change /forums to /board

I have XF installed in "forums" folder, not root. I don't see /forum/forums in my website URLs

If you have installed in the forums directory then all routes will be prefixed with /forums/, just as all routes on this site are prefixed with /community/ (which is where it is installed).
