Updating URL of forum

Howdy Folks.

Let me start by saying I know enough to be dangerous. So forgive me if this is a dumb question.

Question regarding URL change.

So I have an existing site badlinesgoodtimes.com

I would like the forum (https://badlinesgoodtimes.xenforo.cloud/) - URL to be badlinesgoodtimes.com/forum

So in effect keeping the site intact and having the forum be on a page of the site.


Under the Basic settings:

The URL to your board is controlled by XenForo Cloud. To manage custom domain names, use the Customer Area at XenForo.com

It asks the domain and then tells me to update DSN settings on Godaddy

However it does not let me put in the /forum portion

Am I on the right track here or is that going to just take away the site and replace it with the https://badlinesgoodtimes.xenforo.cloud/ ?

you might find it easier to link the xenforo cloud forum on a subdomain (blog.badlinesgoodtimes.com) instead of a folder. from my understanding dns mapping works on the base of the domain. you cannot link it to a folder.
