XF 2.2 Change default thread font size

Hello,

I have a question that I haven't been able to figure out:

How can I change(reduce) the default thread(message) font size 18 and 22?

I've tried the following:

ACP > Appearance > Style Properties > Typography > Size

But none of the listed values affects/changes the 18 and 22 font size, regardless of what new value I set.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Those values don't change it. You'll need an add-on. This one can do it I believe (but also adds a ton of other options)
