CentOS vs Ubuntu Kernel

Which receive kernel updates less frequently?

I login to my Ubuntu VPS every other week and notice it asks to be rebooted, does CentOS receive as many kernel updates as Ubuntu?

To understand both operation systems, this is a rough overview:

Debian is equal to Debian (obviously)
CentOS is a "free, similar copy" of Red Hat

Debian Testing is a "latest release, totally on the edge, not tested" release cycle of Debian
Fedora is a "latest release, totally on the edge, not tested" on Red Hat

Ubuntu builds on top of Debian Testing. Sounds pretty strange, but the Ubuntu developers "want the latest releases, and if there is a problem, they fix it them self"
Ubuntu LTS builds on top of Ubuntu and "is supported for a longer time frame"

Now you can understand, why Ubuntu reboots much more than CentOS.
