Centos 8 + PHP 8 + MySQL 8

Will I have problems if I use these versions?
I will do a new install.

I am currently using them.;
Centos 7 + MySQL 5.4 + PHP 7.4

NOTE: I have Xenforo 2.2.2 + WordPress and private PHP corporate web site.

Shouldn't be any issue from the XF side.

Actually, you probably want XF 2.2.6 as there may have been some lingering PHP 8.0 bugs. It will run without issue but you might want to consider upgrading as soon as you can.

What if PHP functions are turned off?
I will buy linux reseller hosting and there these functions are turned off.

For the most part you should be fine but there’s little reason to have these disabled if those functions are used responsibly.

You’re going to be unable to use default sendmail email but you should be able to use SMTP mail. That will require additional configuration.
