Add-on Casino Add-on Request $100

Will your poker game have in-game credits or credits that we can integrate with other credit addons like BD Credit or whatever it's called.

This is how in game credits currently is implemented. The first time a player is given some cash game to play. The initial amount of money is set by whatever amount you would like members to have. You will be able to select a currency type, USD/EUR/CAD or custom value you like. It is done in configuration files.

Cash transaction is a complex process since it deals with type of games in play (no-limit/pot-limit/fixed-limit) and sit-n-go with price awards and taking into account how many tables and players money has to be computed and given to or taken from. Fortunately, this part is handled by Cubeia-network through their wallet service and will be likely to remain as it is currently implemented.

If player is broke and no longer have insufficient funds to play. Then you can go to the admin console to manually transfer more money to him/her.

There is no automatic money transfer support yet like VB casino has by allowing cash member transfers. So only admin will be able to perform such transactions.

Or simply ask him/her to donate more to get more cash to play. Or simply making more posts will do. I see other sites even have table reserved to VIP only so regular member can not join due to their ranks.

For integration with other money add-ons, it is not supported yet. I don't know about BD Credit or the like but it I could easily write a web service to allow external credit which will take those credits, exchange them to play money , add the amount and deduct it from player. So it's possible to add more code to the game. The third-party add-on will implement calls to restful web services url to handle that.

Forgot to say that you can add your own logo to show the game table with your logo. Skinning is supported too. I haven't played with it yet though.

They don't review stuff on Xenforo. Just post it. I know. I've released several addons and styles myself.
Perfect! Thanks.

Is this still going ahead? This would be ideal for what I'm looking for. :)

Yes! :)

Looks brilliant, nice job. :) Please keep us all updated when you have a better idea of when this might be released. Is this going to be a paid add-on?

No, it's completely FREE! This has already been like this when I released it to IPB community back in March but that was a very early version and did not have cash persistence. It will be the first here and will be an updated one as version 2 on IPB site.

Cubeia poker is open source and filed under AGPL3 licence. My board service will be also provided FREE! You are not mistaken: NO CHARGE!

I'll try to give support for installation issues only on my site. You may need to pay someone to install it for you if you are not familiar with linux.
I've been playing with Cubeia poker's code for more than 2 years now. Back then, the client was coded in Adobe Flex which now has been rewritten all in HTML5.

I would pay for that if it integrated with a credits addon.
I would pay for that and integrated with credits addon myself :)

Note this is an entire stand alone web application which uses Xenforo database for authentication, avatar as it retrieves member's profile such as user name, avatar configuration.
Thus the forum may be down but the game server can still be online.
The whole game package (server, client, cubeia-network, admin-console,board-service) will be provided. It comes with admin console where you can manage cash/play money manually to give to members who are short on cash specially those who lost all money and can no longer play! You can also configure different types of poker games (no-limit, fixed-limit, pot-limit), game timings ... Running all integrated will be documented how to set everything up.

Though you can also set it up easily on local on Windows pc to experiment with it. But documentation will be targeted on those who want to install it on linux VPS/Dedicated server.

Looks great @LuckyRiver Any ETA on the release date? Hints to cost to purchase a copy?

If time permits, I try to release this on August 15 th now I've got the new authentication and the avatar display working.

There is no fee. You will be provided links to download and install it.

But keep in mind, you will need at least 1gb, recommended is 2gb. I've installed the game for demo and test purposes on Chicago vps. Dirt cheap using a special coupon which costs only $40 a year instead of $20+ per month. It comes with 2gb of ram.

I've have only tested the game on Ubuntu 11.04 64bits and Centos 5. Windows platform should work since development is done on Windows.

holy ship... i don't know how this got past me but im ON IT RIGHT NOW!!!!

The resource level a site like yours uses Dre, Chicago VPS will suspended your account and tell you, you need a dedi from them. They are so dirt cheap because they oversell their nodes by a big margin.

Yeah I just learned that after looking at that thread and the thread on lowendtalk.com

I may be able to release earlier than anticipated. The more I hold onto it, the longer the work gets done and delays release. It comes to a point it's pretty stable. So, hopefully if documentation is gone well, it only needs few hours more to complete, it could be this coming weekend! You may need to use Open Office to read it. I figured out that release it 2 weeks earlier will give you time to get the vps up and running with the prerequisite installation requirements :)

Wow that's really exciting! I have my site running on my new server now. :D

Sounds great! Unfortunately I have a very limited knowledge of this kind of thing... am I still going to be able to install it? I'm happy to purchase whatever is required, but I'm just wondering exactly how complex the setup and management of this is going to be?

Thanks again for all the work you've done with this.

You're welcome. It's a hobby as special project to learn new things. You will read installation documentation first before you can tell. It's not for everyone though. I've had no knowledge with linux before but you can only learn by playing with it. If you're not comfortable with Linux, you can install it at home on a Windows pc using Xampp as webserver. But be warned, you will need to know some basic knowledge of Linux or have someone install from you. You will need absolutely root access to install the game. The game will have support for both versions of Xenforo 1.1x and 1.2. You will need to tell through configuration file so it will use the correct authentication.

I will help answering installation issue whenever I can. Hope the game will boost more member sign-up to your community! :)

Glad you like the good news! I can see there is interests on the game! Hope you're will not too busy so you can play sit-go or scheduled tournaments. :)
