Design issue Can't search for partial SP names in templates

Not sure if this was reported before.
I tried to search for '@max' and got no results.
Maybe it should be converted into '{xen:property max' on search, which does return the expected results.

The version only happens for valid style properties. As an example, converting anything would break searching for @media.

As such, this isn't something we're going to be changing at this point. As noted, you can work around it with the "real" syntax.
