XF 2.0 Can't edit template modification or scheduled cron entries

So I can't edit any of the template modifications in my ACP. "Only a limited number of fields in this item may be edited." Yes indeed, exactly 0 can be edited.. Why is that?

Also I can't edit any of the cron entries. Same message. What is the point of the "select time etc" for cron entries if I can't select any of them. Bug?

They’re not editable as add on content isn’t maintained across upgrades and changes will be lost.

You can disable add on entries and create your own with the custom values. These will be maintained across upgrades but it also means that if the developer makes significant changes then these won’t get applied automatically.

Actually you can't create a template modification without going into debug mode. And if you're in debug mode you can edit the original modifications.

Once you've created a "custom", unassigned add-on, modification you can edit it without being in debug mode.

For cron entries, it's like Chris said. Disable the original entry and create a new one to substitute for it.

You were able to change them but every XF upgrade you did will have reset and lost your changes...
