XF 1.1 Cannot edit title to a thread as admin?

I seem to be having issue after issue with editing posts, my own administrative accounts posts being under moderation on a certain board.. What is going on?

That is very odd. I can access admin on my forum, but for some reason it set my default membergroup to Registered. I had to go in admin to change it to Administrative by default in order to do the above. Please close thread. I would think that the first user on the forum would be the 'super admin' and not be able to be changed to a normal member or something.

By default all users are a primary member of Registered, including the admin account.

Admin and Mod permissions are normally assigned separate from the groups:

Admin CP -> Users
> Moderators
> Administrators
