XF 1.2 Cannot access "/install" to complete installation

My lack of experience will show through on this one. I decided to set up the test forum as a subdomain. I placed it in "home/.xenforotest" (not in public_html). I figured this would be fine as only I could get to it.

After uploading the 1.2.2 files using filezilla, I can't browse to /install to trigger the install process. I didn't know this limitation existed when I set up the original test location.

After you folks stop laughing, perhaps someone can advise me what to do about this. Is there any other way to trigger the install process?

I was able to complete the process via the admin control panel. There was a link to the page with the install button. I must have done this before and forgotten about it. Kindly disregard my post and continue on with your regularily scheduled tasks. Now I get to sort out outdated templates.
